샤부샤부

Today I ate out for dinner(actually between lunch and dinner time) with my wife.
We enjoyed the Shabu-shabu at the local restaurant.
It's been such a long time since we last taste the meat.
So the thinly sliced meat was very very good!
After the meal, I decided to eat the meat again after a long time.

  1. What do you mean that you decided to eat the meat after a long time?
Did you mean that you decided to eat meat again after a long time, or that you decided to not eat meat again for a long time?

    1. ahh~ I forgot 'again'. I couldn't find out where I should put it.
I meant.. I want to eat someday after a long time so that I would taste it extremely good. :)
Thank you so much for correcting!

  2. Oh, then I think the second version fits your meaning: I decided to not eat meat again for a long time. If you put your reason (so it will taste as good as it did tonight), your sentence will be clearer! The first sentence means that you hadn't eaten meat for a long time and today was the day you decided to eat it again. After means that today is after the time during which you didn't eat meat. For a long time talks about your future plans. ^^

    1. So, final sentence would be like this :
"I decided not to eat meat again for a long time, so it will taste as good as it did tonight. haha." right?
Thank you so much! It helped a lot!! 고맙습니다.
